Get to Know the Differences Between Cosmetic Injectables and Therapeutic Injectables!
We all know cosmetic injectables are used to smooth out wrinkles, but did you know they can do so much more? The truth is most cosmetic injectables are divided into two purposes: Cosmetic and Therapeutic.
Cosmetic Injectables
At ANEW Spa, we use a variety of cosmetic injectables to treat forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet, and more. The muscles are relaxed, resulting in fewer wrinkles and smoother skin. And when combined with dermal fillers, you can achieve a more youthful appearance.
Therapeutic Injectables
Therapeutic targets multiple pain points, including migraines, neck pain, teeth grinding, muscle pain, TMJ disorder, and lack of sleep. When the facial muscles relax, tension is relieved, and pain subsides. Many of our patients have reported positive results with therapeutic treatments.
So, what’s the difference between the two?
The process of receiving both cosmetic and therapeutic injectables are similar. Our Medical Director, Dr. Kimberly will conduct a comprehensive exam, inject the appropriate areas, and maintain your treatment plan every three months with new injections. However, therapeutic injections requires a more in-depth examination to create the appropriate plan for pain relief.
And here’s the best part
Therapeutic injections can be covered by medical insurance, while Cosmetic is considered a cosmetic procedure and may require out-of-pocket expenses.
Don’t let chronic pain or wrinkles get in the way of your happiness.
